Water, Building, Body Wallpaper 2010
Wallpaper designed in response to site. A collaboration with David Court

During a residency with the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, in the Fall of 2011, I worked on a wall paper and a series of drawings for installation.

This new series of works responds to a recent research trajectory about consciousness, neurological connections, healing and plasticity, and synesthesia as a manifestation of our sensory body. The research began as an attempt to understand more about nuerological function: stimulation and response, and has expanded into an inquiry about the nature of knowing or awareness.

These new works include some text drawings, new drawings on translucent paper, a wallpaper dyptic with collaborator, David Court, and a poster responding to a Lawrence Wiener piece.

Currently I am participating in a residency/seminar series called the VLA Art & Law Residency.
