To access the night-time users of the area (which were a completely different demographic than the day users of the street) we positioned ourselves in front of one of the three gay bars on the street and offered coffee and free cookies to passersby if they would talk to us about the changes they had seen on the street.

This fieldwork focused on the late-night population of Liberty Avenue (bar goers, street workers, homeless people) and asked them to leave a message for the daytime users of the street.
